Italy, Spain, Portugal) and Latin America and South AMerica, there is soooooooooo many statues, a LOT of GOLD!!!!!!!, and stainded glass windows. Do you think that all of that is necessary? Dont you think that that money should go to charity instead? In the US, churches we donate money to charitable orginizations and have like no gold or statues in our churches. Just a wooden cross at the altar.

And while we’r still talking about gold, if, hypothetically speaking, we were using real gold and silver as currency, would we be in a financial crisis?
I’m writing a paper on “Fiat Money and Gold Currency” (not a Gold Standard but actual gold as currency) so i would welcome anyone with some knowledge on this subject to provide me with some insight.
