How much does smoking a couple of cigarettes a week actually harm me?
November 30th, 2009anarkali asked:
I’ve never been a regular smoker in my life but I enjoy smoking a couple of cigarettes when I go out for a drink. I may also smoke a cigarette if I’m really depressed or stressed. I often go for weeks of months without smoking and in general I don’t find smoking more than a couple of cigarettes enjoyable. I have been smoking like that for about 4 years. How much does that habbit actually harm my health?

I really want to stop smoking before it takes a toll on me in any way. I **** the smell of cigarettes on my clothes and the transfer from my sheets to my bedding. We don’t smoke in our home except the bathroom. The main problem is I’ve tried to quit before (I smoke half a pack a day) but my DH smokes two packs a day and when he smokes when he gets home it makes it hard for me to quit. What do I do and/or what’s the best way to quit?

What are the consequences of smoking weed?
November 8th, 2009Gia asked:
People tell me it’s better for you than most things because it’s “natural” and doesn’t do any damage, but all my friends who smoke alot talk really slow and forget everything.. I also just heard that smoking weed adds 6x more tar to your lungs than smoking ciggs does..
What damages does smoking weed do to your body?
Besides yellow teeth haha.

November 6th, 2009What is the smoking policy for students in Madison, WI high schools?
November 4th, 2009onetruerick asked:
It doesn’t matter if you smoke or **** smoking, that isn’t related to the question. I am asking about smoking on school grounds, like during lunch break, at high schools in Madison, WI. I have heard from a student that it is maybe not allowed but the policy is never enforced. True?

October 25th, 2009How far away from doors and windows does a smoking shelter need to be ?
October 25th, 2009Bev P asked:
Before I get lots of replies saying I am moaning. I do understand that smokers feel the need to smoke somewhere but, I work on the 3rd floor of an office building in a large mail order company. Directly below us is the smoking shelter and when we open a window the smell of smoke is over powering and we are forced to shut the window. Surely if the reason smokers are not allowed to smoke inside is because it is a health hazard then what is the stance on smoke coming in the windows and being subjected to it 35 hours per week at least.
It was much better when the smokers had a room inside the building which had extractor fans then the only people bothered by the smoke was the smokers so everyone was happy.
Prior to the smoking ban we did not get the smell of smoke through our window. The smokers had a porta cabin which was closed in where the smoking shelter is now and a room at the other end of the building so no we were not affected at all.
